A couple of my friends, my mother-in-law, and I are doing a home school/co-op Preschool type of a dealio. Our kids aren't quite old enough for regular Preschool, nor do we have the money for it, so we decided to basically a playgroup style preschool for this school year. We will probably go with the same curriculum next year and just intensify it a little bit. I found the curriculum at ourpreschoolhomeschool.blogspot.com, for free and was really impressed with how basic and simplistic it is. I think that it is exactly what kids of Chey's age need, we are doing preschool mainly for the social aspect. Next year we can focus more on the school subjects next year.
Cheyenne is so excited, it has even helped her with potty-training. All of the kids, with the exception of my nephew (he needs a little more help with some subjects and also needs to learn to be a little more social), will be in the same grade in elementary school. It will be great with three boys and two girls. The nice thing is that we will be doing it Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:30 to 11:30 and I will only have to teach once every two weeks. Did I mention chey can't wait.
