My husband hates the fact that I have so many unfinished projects, which is totally okay by me. The next one is this lovely wicker furniture, that my friend gave me, now I just can't pass up wicker can I? (by the way my husband hates wicker, but given our financial state, he can't pass on free) So in the end I won and have another project, Yay.
The wicker itself is still in really good condition it just needs a few minor repairs, thankfully I have a glue gun. A little background- I have been wanting furniture for my front porch for a couple of years now, but finances have always been a slight problem. Matt and I can't see spending money we don't really have, ie. credit card, in order to get things that we don't really need in order to survive. All in all we have been looking for what we want and we will get exactly that eventually, but for right now I spend the little bit on spray paint to fix these.
That is where the new project comes in, I get to scrub, repair and spray paint these (the paint is chipping off of these in a major fashion, to the point you don't want to sit down on them, yuck). For just a few bucks I can have new looking wicker. In total there are four pieces a love seat, two chairs, and a coffee table. I am also going to spray my wicker basket to match.
