My Mom's knitted dishcloths

Growing up I learned most of my talents from my Grandmother.  I spent so much time with her and picked up on a lot of awesome things.  I can crochet, sew, embroider, and of course cooking and baking.  The one thing that I didn't learn from her was knitting.

I learned knitting from my Mom, and she learned it from her Mom.  This is really the only thing that has been passed down from my maternal Grandmother, she is deceased.  I learned how to do this when I was 12.  I started just by watching my mother as she knitted.  The thing that I love to work on the most is dishcloths.

These are the only dishcloths that my mother will use.  My Mom will always make them for weddings and birthdays as well.  I have talked to so many other people who love them too.  On year I made three a piece for all of my sisters-in-law for Christmas.

Some people think that these are really hard to do. I have heard people say that they do not have the coordination to make these, I can tell you that this is incorrect.  I am a person who is seriously lacking coordination, I cannot use a round brush and blow dryer to save my life.

I really loved these colors and thought that they were really awesome to go with my Shaklee stuff for the craft fair.  My friend, Erin Branscom (from the Healthy Branscoms blog), really likes to use them with the Scour Off from Shaklee.
