Recent Reading: The Greatest Miracle in the World

The most recent book I have been reading is an old one from the 70's.  My Dad handed it to me and told me that is was a good read.  I really liked it, though it took me a bit to get through it (kids always take up the time that you want for yourself).  There were so many things that I caught on to while reading this book.

The book is "The Greatest Miracle in the World" by Og Mandino.  It was a fantastic read.  I learned so much about myself and about the things that I want out of life.  I figured out what I will have to do in order to make what I want to happen.  This book helps people realize what it is that they really want/need out of life and achieve there dreams.

This book is really for those who have quit dreaming and have given up on their goals.  These people are the saddest, the author refers to them as the living dead.  They have essentially given up on everything.  They just go through life in the same ho-hum, dole-drum state of mind.  These people are very miserable in their lives and think that they don't know or can't change their circumstances.  There are so many people who have gotten out of the same situations or worse.

I recommend this book to everyone, who feels trapped by their jobs, who can't make goals, and for those who don't know what they want to do.  There is always a change that you can make, to make your life what you want it to be.
