If you couldn't tell already, Matt and I really like and eat a lot of Mexican food. What we love even more is New Mexican Food, but I haven't mastered true fry bread yet, nor is it very healthy. But we can get green chiles, the canned ones at least, and they are divine.
I really like Tacos a lot they are one of my favorite things to eat. So I make them the best way I know how.
I fry five pounds of hamburger and drain off the fat (one little tip, if you want to tackle this much, fry it up in a 5-6 quart pot). I then stir in one #10 size can of refried beans (I get this size from Sam's Club or Costco) and 5 packets of taco seasoning. Then I add four 4 ounce cans of green chiles. I mix it all together and let it get good and hot. Then I put it into containers and freeze anything that I am not going to eat within a few days.
