Preschool fun for Austin Pt. 1

Austin has been a bit jealous of Chey and Kody.  They get to go to school 4 and 5 days a week.  Kody is in an awesome Pre-School and Chey goes to Kindergarten now.  I have been looking for something for Austin to do while she is at home with me.  Well I scoured Pinterest for ideas and found it.

Austin is only 2 1/2, so she doesn't need anything really in depth, but she does need something to keep her somewhat occupied for a bit.  I found activity bags that she can do that aren't super expensive to put together.  Over the next little bit I am going to put one together every couple of weeks.  And I will explain what it is that I am doing.

The first one that I have put together is a counting activity.  Austin is probably a little young for the higher numbers in this one, I figured we would work with 1-5 and go up from there.
I used an ice cube tray and numbered the bottom with a sharpie.  By the way I got everything for this project at dollar tree.  Then I counted out enough beads for each of the sections and put them in a snack bag and put every thing in a gallon size bag and labeled it.

Let's just say that she loves it a whole bunch.  We have a long way to go before she is actually counting, but the beads make it into each section.  This activity will last until she goes to kindergarten.  The other to don't get to play with it and she only gets it while they are at school learning.
