My Version of a Fall Wreath

I have always had a thing for wreaths, however Matt doesn't care for them (mostly because they always end up squished and destroyed).  So I have had to find other options for wreaths.  This is what I have come up with.  Our last initial makes a great door hanging, I love it.  This was a pretty easy project, I only needed some rafia, jute, and a wooden letter.  Oh, yeah and a bit of hot glue.

I work on most of my projects later at night while I am relaxing, usually while listening to something or watching a movie.  So I watched a movie while I sat and wrapped the letter in the jute.  I hung it using the rafia, and I secured the jute with the hot glue.  I really enjoyed this project other than all of the itchy jute fibers all over, that was a bit itchy.
