A hundred billion years ago, when I was a kid - or at least it seems that long ago. My Grandma did a lot of sewing for Heather (my little sister) and I. One time she took us shopping to pick out fabric for some dresses, we were about 3 and 4 at the time. We picked up fabric that to me now looks like tinfoil. Pink and Seafoam tinfoil.
About a year ago, my mom was going through stuff and found the dresses. And the pictures to go along with them. Well, now that my girls are that age, I decided that we would get their pictures taken in them and then give that to my Grandma for Christmas.
She is sentimental like that and so it will be right up her alley. I also thought that it will be perfect for their Grandparents. I can't believe that we wore them and never got struck by lightening. 80's tinfoil. Aren't they adorable, I mean the kids not the dresses.
