Mom Challenge: Week 1 and Week 2 Intro

This past week the goal was to eat three times as a family.  We were totally able to do it.  I made really good dinners. The first night we had spaghetti, the second night was chicken pot pie and apple tart, and the third night we had smoothies (one of Matt's favorites, plus we had a really heavy lunch).

We either did meals on the nights Matt was home or before he left for work. I could have done it alone, but I chose to have him home to help out with the kids.

My kids actually really loved eating at the table and Matt mad sure that I stuck to it and stayed off the phone. They kept begging every night to eat at the table.  I was quite surprised.  We talked and come to find out Dakota won't eat broccoli.

Day three we had smoothies.  Imagine three little people with were red covered faces, they love smoothies.  Matt makes the best smoothies.  Matt had gotten up to grab something and Chey had already finished and was taking her dishes to the sink.

This next week the challenge is to slow down.  This will definitely be a challenge for me.  I usually have 15 million things to do and no time to do them.  I am usually rushing the kids so we won't be late.  I am also not a very patient person and get frustrated when they take a really long time to clean up their room.  We will see how it goes.
