Mom Challenge: Week 8 and Week 9 Intro

This weeks challenge was to get passionate.  To find things that the kids are passionate about.  We had some fun with this.  I already know how passionate Cheyenne is about spiders (yes, I know creepy), so we let her catch as many as she wanted.  She was loving it, as of right now they are all named Charlotte.  She wants to be an entomologist, someone who studies insects and arachnids.  We did other things but that is what she wanted to do.

Kody is 4, normally they have many interests at this age.  Dakota has one interest, anything with wheels, his favorites are fire trucks.  He wants to work on cars and be a fire fighter.  It is very difficult to divert his attention.

Austin is three, and is passionate about everything.  He doesn't have just one interest, but pretty much everything.  We went on walks and shopped for fish.  We cooked in the kitchen and rode bikes.  We spent time talking about what they enjoy, and they spent time fighting.  All in all, we just did a lot of things together, including drawing with chalk.

I wish I had this kind of talent, that is awesome.  Picture found on internet.

The challenge for next week is to stop making excuses and challenge your kids.  This one is going to be a little tougher.  On to the next challenge, these are all great challenges.
