Prep for Kody's Birthday: Gift Bags

Dakota's Fifth Birthday is at the end of the month.  I want it to be really awesome for him.  So all of my projects up until then are going to revolve around his birthday party.  I have a lot of fun things up my sleeve.
This project was pretty quick and fun.  I really loved this idea, it was one of my own creation.  Gift bags that look like stop lights.  I thought it was quite ingenious.
I purchased some gift sacks from Hobby Lobby (they come in a 10 pack for about $2.00). I already had everything else on hand. Some construction paper, a cup, an pencil/pen, glue, and scissors.

First I checked to make sure that the cup was the right size, and that I could fit three circles that size on the bags.

I drew circles on the construction paper with the pencil and cup.  1 circle per color per bag.  For example 6 bags = 6 circles of each color.

Then I cut them out.  Just a side note of how brainless I can be: I couldn't remember what order the colors go in.  When I drive I just wait for the lights to change, so I never pay attention to which one came first.  I knew yellow was in the middle.  Matt was being a pain, I asked him which came first and he laughed and said "really".  He wouldn't tell me, so I had to google it.  The good thing is that now I know.

Then I glued them on to the bags (I just used Elmers).  I also didn't measure anything, I just eyeballed the measurements.

I think they turned out really awesome.

Kody really wanted to play with them.  What do you think?
Be sure to come back and see what else is in store.  I absolutely love all of the ideas that I am coming up with.
