Apple Tart

I decided to make an apple cobbler with a bunch of apples I had on hand.

I started with about 10 small apples.

Peeled, cored, and chopped.  Just a little tip: if you put the apples in water until you are ready for them and then just drain the water before you use them, it will keep them from going brown.

Melted 1/2 cup butter and 3/4 cup brown sugar.  Cook on low heat until deep brown

While everything is cooking get your crusts ready.  I am a cheater and use store bought pie crusts, I really hate making homemade pie crusts.

Add the apples to the butter and brown sugar.  The recipe said to just coat them, but I think that they need to cook down a bit.

Divide it equally into the crusts.  I folded the crusts down and made them pretty.

I baked them until golden brown, about 20-30 minutes.

I really love it serve with ice cream.  The kids ate this up.
