Breakfast Apple Cobbler

I wanted something that I could make the night before and have my morning be a bit easier.  I also got this recipe from the Fix It And Forget It Lightly.
core, peel, and slice 8 medium apples.  I used 9 because a few of mine were really small.  Also grease your crock pot and put all apples it

Add 1/2 c. sugar, 2 TBSP lemon juice, 1-2 tsp. lemon zest, and a dash of cinnamon.

Mix 1/4 c. melted butter and 1 1/2 c. natural cereal with fruit and nuts (I used raisin bran)

Spread over the top.

Mix and cook on low for 6 hours.

Here is the finished product

The kids loved it for breakfast.
