Food Storage Friday: 6 Can Soup

One of the things I have been working on is stocking up on meals that we already eat.  We wanted things that were easy to make and also didn't require ingredients that have to be refrigerated.

I picked up enough stuff to make this recipe six times. It is one of my favorites.  Six can soup, I found this recipe in the "Fix It and Forget It: Lightly".  I love crock pot meals, so easy.

the recipe is:
1 can tomato soup
1 can chili beans
1 can mixed vegetables
1 can corn
1 can chicken broth (I just use chicken base and water)
1 can diced tomatoes
I also add more water and 1/2 of bag of egg noodles, to make it go further and bulk it up a little.

I bought enough stuff to make it 2X a month for three months.  It adds to our three month supply of food storage.
